Monroe Crossing

Sunday February 13, 2022

Named in honor of Bill Monroe, “The Father of Bluegrass Music,” Monroe Crossing dazzles audiences with an electrifying blend of classic bluegrass, bluegrass gospel, original bluegrass, and even selections outside of the bluegrass genre.  Their superb musicianship and on-stage rapport have entertained audiences across the United States, Canada, and Europe.  For nearly 20 years, the five-piece Minnesota-based ensemble has played over 100 shows a year, performing in intimate rooms, churches, community theaters, concert halls, and outdoor festivals.  Monroe Crossing was inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame in 2007, and was selected to perform at the International Bluegrass Music Association in Nashville.  The band has also appeared twice at Carnegie Hall, and was the first Minnesota bluegrass band to perform in South Korea. Offering a rich and varied discography, Monroe Crossing has recorded 17 CDs to date.

We are observing current COVID recommendations and requiring audience members to wear masks at our events.
